…hier sind wir wieder nach einem Monat Funkstille mit neuen News. Nicht das wir keine Lust mehr hatten, euch von unserer Reise zu erzählen, nur hatten wir kein Notebook mehr seitdem sie bei uns eingebrochen haben. Aber eins nach dem anderen.
Von Ninh Binh geht es weiter über Hue – Hoi An – Na Trang nach Mui Ne. Diesmal haben sie wirklich ihr Wort gehalten und wir kriegen in Hue wie versprochen unsere Pässe wieder. Der Süden des Landes ist im Gegenteil zum Norden viel trockener und wärmer. Zu unserem erstaunen wird nicht nur das Klima sondern auch die Menschen freundlicher.
Wind hat es von Anfang an jede Menge und wir Kiten jeden Tag. Am vierten Tag Besuchen wir das 15km entfernte kleine Fischerdörfchen Mui Ne für eine Abendlicht Foto-Session. Die Wolken machen uns einen Strich durch die Rechnung und wir kehren zurück ins Hotel.
„Hatten wir das Licht im Zimmer nicht gelöscht?“ Wir sperren die Tür auf und stellen entsetzt fest, dass eingebrochen wurde. Nach kurzem Durchwühlen des Chaos ist auch gleich klar was weg ist: Computer, Iphone und alle elektronischen Geräte die im Zimmer waren. Pässe und Kreditkarten waren im Hotelsafe. Zu unserem Glück hat alles andere keinen interessiert. Was darauf folgt mit Polizei, Verhöre, vermessen des Zimmers, Auflistung der vermissten Gegenstände usw…., alles für die Katze. Die scheren sich ein Teufel für unser Problem…..

… here we are back after one month of silence. You might thing we wherer tired of writing news but that’s not the case. Our notebook got rubed but first things first.
From Ninh Binh we continued our jurney passing Hue – Hoi An – Na Trang to Mui Ne. This time they really kept their promise and we get our passports back in Hue. The southern part of Vietnam is in contrast to the north dry and warm. And it seams that not only the climate changes but also people appear to be more freindly down south.
Once in Mui Ne we have wind every day and non stop kiting. The forth day we decide to make an excursion to the nearby fisher village for a sunset photo-session. The sun had other plans and desappeared by the time we arrived behind the clouds. A little disappointed we hit the road back to the hotel.
„Did we not close turn of the light of our room?“ We open the door, the window is open and our staff is spread all over the bed and the sealing. Somebody forced the window open and broke into our room. After a short rifle through the mess we realize: notebook, iphone and all electronic devices we left in the room – all gone. Somehow we are even lucky, though all the rest did not seam to interst them and we still have our kite equipment and all the rest of our stuff. The following investigation of the police with several pages of reports and lists of missing items is just a joke. As we find out 10 days later when passing bye the police station for any news about our stuff, they do not even know what we are talking about.
